Creating WordPress-HROffice link (API or plugin) is how you do it:

From onboarding to offboarding, HROffice assists recruiters as they work. But wouldn’t it be easy if you could link this recruitment software to a WordPress site? 2manydots makes custom links.

Why integrate HROffice with WordPress?

As an HR department, you can’t do without a work-at-home website. On it you tell more about yourself as an employer. It also lists the latest job openings. And if possible, offer candidates there the opportunity to apply directly.

Whether you post job openings on an organization’s web page, or prefer to use a separate website for this purpose, WordPress is the logical choice. This website management system (CMS) makes it easy to post new content and modify page layouts. As a user of HROffice, it then helps you tremendously if there is a direct link between HROffice and that WordPress website. Such an integration saves you a lot of cut-and-paste, which saves time and reduces the chance of errors.

There is another important benefit of linking HROffice and WordPress. It gives you a much better understanding of your candidates. Thanks to tools like Google Analytics and Hotjar discover how many visitors you get, what percentage of them apply, which jobs are viewed the most, and so on. This is valuable information that you can use to optimize the working at website.

Example of a HROffice/WordPress connection

It’s done: the job posting for the new position in your IT department is finished. You save it in HROffice and open your work at recruitment website. Look at this: the job posting is immediately on the site, seamlessly fitting into the design. You used to have to do that publishing by hand, selecting certain words to make them bold, getting lists right and putting headings in the right format. Speaking of cups; you now have time to spare for a cup of coffee!

In the afternoon you suddenly get a message from HROffice: there is an applicant for that new vacancy in the IT department. The link between HROffice and WordPress put this candidate’s personal information, cover letter and resume directly into HROffice. Again, that saves you tons of time. Speaking of a tray…

Do it yourself or outsource?

Unfortunately, there is no WordPress plugin for HROffice. This makes it more difficult to link between these systems yourself. However, it is possible to link a site with HROffice through the API. This involves programming, which requires knowledge and experience. Not only for this reason, but also because of lack of time, many organizations choose to outsource this job.

Another good reason to seek external help is the need to encrypt and secure personal data. A regulator is checking website owners’ compliance with the General Data Protection Regulation (AVG), under penalty of heavy fines. So choose not only a party who is technically savvy, but also a partner who knows the letter of the law.

Why 2manydots?

2manydots specializes in WordPress websites for businesses and institutions. No sites with standard themes, but custom websites. That customization often involves links to external systems. Links that send information back and forth, thus saving handsome work.

2manydots works a lot with recruiters. We develop strategies that help employers find the best candidates, and we build work at sites.

That a site must comply with AVG regulations is something we take for granted. We provide encrypted data transfer and a secure database. This allows candidates to trust you with their personal information with peace of mind. And, not insignificantly, this is how you operate within the law.

Of course, a WordPress/HROffice link doesn’t just appear out of thin air. It fits within a larger, strategic picture. Creating and executing such a strategy is called employer branding. We at 2manydots feel a true passion for it. We’ve created a checklist for that that’s handy for recruiters like you. Download it for free!

About HROffice

HROffice is a Dutch-made Applicant Tracking System (ATS). Companies such as Bol.com and Praxis use software for their recruiting. HROffice is a Software as a Service (SaaS), an online platform where recruiters manage their job postings and candidates. Some of the processes where HROffice provides a solution are:

  • recruitment and selection
  • onboarding
  • draw up contracts
  • remuneration
  • timesheet
  • offboarding

HROffice is modular; you choose only the features you actually want to use. You get great data insights, but they become even more valuable when you interface with WordPress. 2manydots makes those.
