2manydots has officially become a Klaviyo partner.
This marks another step in our mission to help our clients grow through effective digital solutions. Klaviyo is a marketing automation and customer data platform.
It is a powerful tool for creating personalized email campaigns.
With Klaviyo, we can now be even more responsive to the needs and wants of our customers and their target audience.

Promising results

We immediately put our new platform into practice, and with success!
For a Resultsmatter client of Resultsmatter, we set up several automation flows and will be sending personalized emails in the coming months.
Within one month, these emails have already caused a 24.77% increase in sales!

So how does it work?

In Klaviyo, you can use different functionalities, such as automation flows, segments, tags and triggers and conditions.
We’ll explain it to you:

1. Automation flows

Email flows, also known as automation flows, are predefined series of emails that are sent automatically based on certain triggers or recipient actions.
An email flow can include several steps such as sending welcome emails, follow-up emails after a purchase and reminder emails.

For example: a new subscriber signs up for a newsletter.
The automated flow that follows:

Day 1: Welcome email
Day 3: Thank you email for signing up with introductory offer
Day 7: Reminder of your personal most sold products

2. Target groups and segments

Target groups or segments, are groups of recipients categorized based on certain criteria such as demographics, function, interests, purchase history, behavior and so on.
Segmenting your email list helps to send more relevant and personalized messages.

Segments can be:

1) New subscribers
2) Active customers (made a purchase within the past 6 months)
3) Inactive customers (did not make a purchase for more than 6 months)

3. Tags

Tags are labels assigned to contacts to identify them based on specific characteristics or actions.
Tags make it easy to organize contacts and run targeted campaigns.

Examples of tags may include:

1) New customer
2) Webinar participant
3) Interested in Product A

4. Triggers and conditions

Triggers are events or actions that start an e-mail flow.
These can be actions such as a sign-up, a purchase, a click on a link in a previous e-mail and the like.
Conditions determine when a particular action should occur in the flow.

Example trigger: a customer adds a product to their cart but does not complete the purchase.
The automated flow that follows:

Day 1: Mail with reminder and possible discount
Day 3: Mail with product benefits and customer reviews
Day 5: Final reminder with additional discount

5. Dynamic content

Dynamic content allows different parts of an e-mail to be personalized for different recipients within the same campaign.
This is often used in conjunction with tags and segments.

An email campaign that appeals to both men and women:
For Men: Product Recommendations for Men
For Women: Product Recommendations for Women

6. Data and analysis

Measuring the performance of email campaigns is very important.
Open rates, click-through rates, conversions, and other KPIs help marketers understand the effectiveness of their emails, but most importantly, optimize them.

For example, analyzing the performance of a welcome flow to see how many subscribers end up making a purchase within 30 days of signing up.
